I hired a contractor to take out the carpet and place bamboo
floors. a month after the job was completed, my
floors started buckling up forming a hill in my living room. I called him to see the damaged, and he demanded money on the spot to do repairs, because he said it was my fault due to moisture of the sprinklers in my back yard! (though I still think that's the dumbest conclusion). Because of that I hired 2 independent
floor inspectors and both of their conclusion were due to faulty installation. I will sue him, but I know he's broke. So how do I get a Lien on his Surety Bond?
Is there a process I have to follow? What steps should I take?
